Brief view in search results

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Brief view in search results

Post by *roentgen »

Switching to brief view in search results doesn't work (nothing new so far).

However, going thru thumbnail view and after that switching to brief view seems to work (the new part - at least for me).

A little bit twisted for my liking...

As I can see this thread going the same place as this one, maybe it would be nice to have an option to let the user define the view in search results, with the possibility to choose between the standard and custom views.
TC for Linux please!

This is intentional - TC switches to the normal file view when you choose either Brief view or Full view from the search result. Btw, full view (just name+details) doesn't work in search results mode either!

Switching from thumbnails view to brief view or full view doesn't toggle the re-read. For full view, it's the only way to get back to the search results view.

Currently I don't plan to change that, sorry.
