I have a file named "ap_gpltc_geenlampuitschakelen.c" and want to copy it to "ap_gpltc.c". So I press Ctrl-F5 for copying the file into the same directory, which pops-up a dialog with the filename selected.
Press right for deselecting the filename, the cursor stands after the extension. Put the cursor before the extension dot and then press Ctrl+Shift+left, which selects the text "geenlampuitschakelen".
Normally, pressing another time Shift+Left extends the selection with the underscore. However, the cursor is still standing before the dot, so Shift-Left now *deselects* the last 'n' character.
Cursor doesn't move in copy dialog after Ctrl+Shift+<-

This has been discussed before, please use the search function! It's a limitation of Windows, there is no function to set both the selection and the cursor position in an edit control.
I'm trying to a find a solution via simulated sending of key presses, but it's not that easy, unfortunately.
