When closing an inactive tab with CTRL+Mouse click, this is what happens:
User presses CTRL, then clicks on tab to close. Tab gets activated on mouse down and closes on mouse up. If the folder shown in this tab has been disconnected or has a problem then the drive selection window appears which actually destroys the whole procedure because the user must release CTRL, press escape and then close the tab.
Suggestion: When clicking an inactive tab with the mouse, the tab should be activated only if the user is not pressing CTRL.

x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Though I always close with middle click (which does not activate the tab), I think, the suggestion is quite reasonable and support it.
