Suggestion: Shortkey for Copy Tab in other Window

Post by *trakath »

copying a Tab in the other window is nice for file handling, but it has to be done with mouse :) --> Shortkey (e.g. STRG+R)

TC is very nice tool, i use it nearly all the time :) great work @TC-fathers

You can assign your own shortcut key to the internal command cm_MatchSrc - that will copy the tab CONTENT to the other window, but perhaps that is not what you want?

Do you in stead want a NEW tab in the other window with the same content as the current tab? Then place the cursor on a file (not a foder) and press Shift+Ctrl+ArrowUp.

your tips were very helpful, the first as well as the second.

thanks a lot

ps: just a thing: it would be great, when CTRL+SHIFT+UP has been pressed, the new tab would also be activated
