Variables should be resolved when displaying the context menu for a button.
Also, 'cd path' isn't much of design IMO. A better approach would be Go to 'path'.

I don't agree with both.
I do not always know the drive letter I have TC on, but I always know paths relative to %commander_path%. Having expanded path would be confusing - is it really what it is supposed to or is it temporarily set fixed path?
And I find using cd in this place more consistent behaviour. Surely it's less english, but clearly understandable.
