IrDA FS plugin
About half a year ago I accidentally found a webpage offering a free plugin, namely an IrDA wfx plugin. I downloaded it and have been using it for connecting Nokia telephones with my computer (Nokia Suite is installed and everything works well).
However, I cannot find the homepage of that wfx plugin any more. I still got the file but it has no information about the author.
Does anyone here know anything about this plugin?

Here.
I do not think it's a Siemens DES. I have several mobile phones at home and I extensively use different mobile plugins.
I vaguely remember that I downloaded this plugin from some guy's homepage and he had written this himself. Therefore, my guess would be that this is a yet unknown but useful FS plugin.
And thanks to the author (whose name we unfortunately do not know).

It works nice.
I didn't find anything similar in my collection. I can put it to totalcmd.pl.
There were no other files, only wfx. That was why I started this topicDrShark wrote:If there was some files came with plugin (if you downloaded it in archive), upload them too.

I cannot give any permission because I did not write the plugin and I do not know whether the real author would want this. At the same time, the plugin was downloadable as freeware for everybody. Very unfortunately I cannot remember the author's name or website.djk wrote: I can put it to totalcmd.pl.
If you upload it to totalcmd.pl, the plugin will probably be useful for many people (since there is probably no other similar plugin available). But you have to decide if you want to do it without the author's permission.
It can be used for wireless (infrared) communication in TC between a PC/laptop and a mobile or laptop or any other device that supports Infrared access. There are other options like proprietary phone managers or Windows infrared but I just love Total Commander and I like to do everything in TC.joeyeti wrote:What would this plugin be useful for (different than using Phone-to-PC connection)?
Do you then see it as a new Drive-of-sorts, or as a new Filesystem (in My Network Places)?andres992 wrote:It can be used for wireless (infrared) communication in TC between a PC/laptop and a mobile or laptop or any other device that supports Infrared access. In TC, you will see a new item (IrDA) if you open the network view (the "" button near to the drive buttons). If you double-click, you will see the available part of the file system of the infrared device (if it is connected, of course).joeyeti wrote:Do you then see it as a new Drive-of-sorts, or as a new Filesystem (in My Network Places)?
