I came across this bug last week and wanted to report it. Although i could not reproduce it again..
I wanted to check a folder total size by pressing space bar, and for the 1st time ever it would not tell me the folder size in kb/mb/gb or anything
i closed and restarted TC and then it displayed the folder size no problem..

Maybe the directory was already selected when you pressed Spacebar? The size is counted only when the directory was not selected.

It happened to me, too, in a custom view having [=dirsizecalc.Size (Background)] and [=dirsizecalc.Compressed Size (Background)] but not [=tc.size].

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I'm sorry but I cannot reproduce this problem. I'm using this function almost daily, but I have never encountered this problem.

I have the same problem, see also German Forum. There are some screenshots. I have tried following:
- Space Bar: will be marked, but no size will be shown
- ALT+Shift+ENTER: only size of the 2nd folder will be shown
- SPACE || Insert to mark the concerned folder: size of the folder doesn't shown, but you can see in the bottom of the window 16GB/20GB in 0/0 Files, 1/2 Folders
- Start a new instance of TC locally, go to the same folder: the same error.
- Start of a new instance of TC 7.02a on an other PC with the same configuration: the same error
- Start of a new instance of TC 6.56 on an other PC with the same configuration: the same error
I still can reproduce this problem, so if I should try something else, please let me know.

1. Go to some temp directory (C:\Temp, for example).
2. Create a subdirectory named 0, go into it.
3. Run from command line (you will need about 17 Gb of free space):
