Lister and Mouse Scrolling

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Lister and Mouse Scrolling

Post by *PeterTBCarp »

I've just acquired Lister - 495,040 bytes - and found out that it still doesn't respond to my mouse page-scrolling.

Is there something unauthorised that Lister is doing with regard to mousing? Virtually everything else on my computers obeys mouse-scrolling. Here in Firefox 2.0.0.11, for instance.

Admittedly I have a Logitech Marble FX Trackman - so that I don't have to rotate my radius and ulnar unnaturally - through a Cybex KVM switchbox, but - as I said - virtually everything else here scrolls properly. My mouse has a button that latches the scroll function, then I roll the ball. But everything else... etc.

TC does..

[BTW, could Lister have a version number too..?]

Does TC's build-in Lister respond?

You could try this parameter in your wincmd.ini: IgnoreWheel=1
Why do I have to search through German in this forum?
Why is that so bad? - there is a lot of good information there ;-)

Nope

Nope, F3 Lister doesn't respond either. (I assume it's the same code.)
And, neither IgnoreWheel=1 nor IgnoreWheel=0 works for either mode above.

Works in here (FFox), Word, Notepad, EditPad, NoteTab, Photoshop, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. :(

Why do I have to search through German in this forum? - Swahili? Baah! Every Search requires a resetting of forums to search, and do I search TC or TC7 Bugs? And even the English link in the home page doesn't take me to English.
Do new buyers understand the references to WinCmd in TC?
Will Help ever be updated from Windows 3.0 vintage? - Chm still looks like Win 3.0
