I have a storage link setup in my home network.
When I try to connect to it on my HTC TyTn II I get the error 58.
The strange thing about it is that connecting to a shared folder on a PC works fine.
Is it maybe because the storage link (Linksys NSLU2) works on Linux and the HD connected to it is formatted in ext3?

Error 58 is ERROR_BAD_NET_RESP, which means "The specified server cannot perform the requested operation". I assume that the device does not support the simple logon method supported by Windows CE.
after some longer Google search I found these instructions to make the Linksys NSLU2 work with Windows CE:

The easy hack seems to be to add a line
use spnego = no
to the Samba config file on the device, the hard method seems to require some firmware update...
