[REQ] Get rid of "Total Commander 32 bit international

Post by *icfu »

version, file manager replacement for Windows" string.

1. In Process Explorer, you aren't able to collapse the description column with Ctrl+Num+ just because of TC's penis enlargement string.
2. Anyway, what is a "file manager replacement", please? Afaik TC is a file manager, not a replacement for a file manager.
3. Where can I get a non-international version, please?
4. Where can I get a non-Windows version, please?

Description: Total Commander

That's it.

Total Commander. The "Swiss knife" at file managers.

Paradoxically the origin of TC is from Switzerland. ;)

As a trivial/basic/elemental idea: Why don't suggest to the author of procexp that the text will be truncated? (if it is more longer than X characters, of course)
Maybe It will be hard if M$ is the owner of procexp. Or... Maybe Not, if the initial/original author still is the programmer, I don't know.

P.S.:  = Mode ironic, joke, etc. Don't take me in count ;)

It's not only ProcessExplorer, when you right click on a file the "Open with" menu also (sometimes) includes this annoying long title.

So it's somewhere stored in TC's executable and I agree it should be shortened

There is nothing to fix because there is no error. Ctrl+Num+ is a standard feature for the listview control, it's not a special feature of PE.

1. I prefer to see the source of a problem fixed, not waste my time requesting workarounds in all applications suffering from this problem.
2. It's Sysinternals. Requesting features from Sysinternals is a waste of time.
3. I prefer to see complete information over truncated one.

Just contact the developer of anti-spam filter to create a workaround. ;)
