Lister plugin for powerpoint ppt please
What lister plugin will show Powerpoint ppt files?
FYI I gave up on ieview because it gives me a fatal error:
"Access violation at address D0E50202. Read of address D0E50202.
Please report this error to the Author,
with a description of what you were doing when this error occured!
Continue execution?"

Use the Universal Viewer.
This has the integrated function to use all IE based viewers. It works fine for me with Powerpoint. You also may use all TC lister plugins in it.

Any chance you could be so kind to explain how exactly did you get Universal Viewer to work with PowerPoint (either PPT or PPTX)?
I have the latest version (6.5.6.2) of UV installed and it can open neither PPT nor PPTX

You refer to a very old answer from me.adamas wrote:Hey there!Horst.Epp wrote:Use the Universal Viewer.

Currently I use the Ulister plugin which uses the Oracle outside-in viewers.
With this you can view almost every file format including Powerpoint of course. The plugin supports x86 and x64 TC.

Wow... I mean OHH MY GOD!!! This pluging is everything I've been dreaming of and searching for literally for ages! I mean, it plays everything, absolutely everything, including PowerPoint, it's pretty darn fast and even esc-to-quit works perfectly!Horst.Epp wrote:You refer to a very old answer from me.adamas wrote:Hey there!Horst.Epp wrote:Use the Universal Viewer.

how to make ulister work with PPT/PPTX?
I have ulister and just updated Oracle Outside In Technology to vw-8-5-3-win-x86-64.zip Viewer Technology 8.5.3 Release Date: 05/02/2016
ulister is set for the following:
When I list a PPT or PPTX file, it shows as text. If I select Options> Multimedia in the Lister, it still shows as text and the checkmark doesn't go to Multimedia.
Please help!
ulister is set for the following:
Code: Select all
EXT!="XML"
Please help!

It automatically recognizes pptx files and displays them fine.
