Permanent directory size display

Post by *tcebob »

I would much prefer that directory sizes be displayed by default (as an option, of course). With today's faster computers (mine is 8 years old; that's modern, isn't it?) the calculation time is modest. The ability to sort by size would be good.

Maybe DirSizeCalc 1.21 (content plug-in) is what you are looking for?
There's also a beta version of 2.0.
Who the hell is General Failure, and why is he reading my disk?

Dumb question: I've installed the plugin. How do I make it work?

OK, I found it. Fields. Very nice; the only place it's really slow is at the root directory. But it's easy to switch views.
