TC7.03 Configuration/Tabstops/X button wrong behavior

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC7.03 Configuration/Tabstops/X button wrong behavior

Post by *white »

TC7.03 Configuration/Tabstops/X button wrong behavior

* Go to the Configuration - Tabstops dialog (menu Configuration/Options/Tabstops)
* Click the "Default" button (default tab stops are applied to the panels)
* Hitting Esc key and clicking the Cancel button both cancel the change by the Default button. However clicking the X button in the upper right corner does not cancel the change made by the Default button. The changes are however not saved to disk. Restarting TC will undo the changes made by the Default button.

This bug was earlier described here.

Well, that's debatable. "Default" sets the new tabs, but doesn't yet store them. "OK" or "Apply" stores them. "Cancel" undoes the change made with "Default". Clicking just on close simply closes the dialog with the last state, it doesn't change anything else - that's what you observe. You would probably argue that "Cancel" and "Close" should be the same, but they currently aren't.
