DarkCryptTC can ecrypt any files (and directories - now) to encrypted archive from best file manager - Total Commader. Plugin can use any of 40 encryption algorithms, any you want. Use can use you password, of secret key in any text file. Now plugin can generate key for you, length is unlimited.

DarkCryptTC has lots of features.
