Hi
If open an FTP connection and then change the transfer mode (by clicking on the drop-down list), I get a pop-up box with the following message "Access Violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000. Please report this error to the Author, ..."
I hope this info is useful.

Hello Claude
I do this to reproduce the problem:
- I press Alt-F2 and then "\" to slect "My Network Places"
- I then select "Secure FTP Connections" (I have the SFTP Plugin installed)
- I try and open an SFTP session, but I get an error "ssh_init: error during SSH connection setup". I think that this error was because I used the wrong password or login.
- I then click on the Disconnect button.
- I then press Control-F to open the normal FTP dialog and select a FTP session, and press connect.
- The FTP session connects correctly.
- I the change the transfer mode from Automatic to Binary
- I then get the error message.
Important Notes:
- This error only occurs if I first try and do the SSH connection.
- Once this error has occurred, then it continues every time I do a normal FTP.
- The error does not re-occur if I close TC and re-start TC (except if I try the SSH connection).
I hope that this helps.
I will check for replies tomorrow (got to go now).
Regards, Nigel

It seems that TC tries to send the new transfer mode also to the SFTP plugin, but this fails because some function isn't loaded (address=00000000).
