Auto refresh function seems not working well in vista 64.

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Auto refresh function seems not working well in vista 64.

Post by *sheppaul »

I'm using vista 64. (TC 7.03)

Auto-refresh works when a file created but the size of a downloading file seems not updated. IIRC, it worked without any problem in xp system.

Thanks,
:)

Did you check the option to also react to the modification of size, date and attributes? This is a separate option in Configuration - Options - Refresh.

See the screenshot. I've just rechecked the function by downloading a video file from ftp. It did not work.

The refresh does not work even when the following option is disabled: Don't react to updates while in the background.
Only using TCMD x64. :)

Sorry, no idea - maybe the 32-bit subsystem of Windows Vista 64 bit does not support this?

FYI, it works now. Probably, the problem was due to the vista itself. :)

ps. When the downloading speed is rather fast (about 1M byte/sec), the refresh does not work.

I see - Vista is probably trying to put all the refresh messages together into just one message, but since they keep coming, it never informs the programs...
