A dumb question I am afraid, although I am not a complete technical cretin.
I downloaded TC 2.51 and installed the application. When I open the program on my Touch Diamond, I can't see anything relating to the Registry Edit function, or indeed even find the registry files in the program tree view.
What am I doing wrong/not doing. I have tried to find help files/FAQ but could not find the answer.
Hoping someone can help me please.
Cheers
Ric

Re: Stupid question about Registry Editor
What you need to do is bring up the root directory by tapping \ to the right of Total Commander's address bar. In the root, you should see a subdirectory named \\Plugins. You will *not* see that subdirectory in any other file manager, nor will it appear in TC's tree view.
The Registry plugin will appear as a subdirectory inside \\Plugins, and double-tapping it will open the registry for editing.
Once you're there, you can easily add the registry to the directory hotlist by double-tapping the address bar and choosing "Add current dir". That will make it easier to access the registry the next time around.
