How to access plugins/addons in TC

Post by *jensrauff »

Hi. I can't figure out how to use plugins and addons i have downloaded. After download I have clicked yes when prompted to install in TC. For example I have downloaded and installed a calculate dir plugin, which should calculate the size of dir with contents in the background. Can you please help me? Best regards Jens

If you read the TC help, or do a kick jump to TC wiki, you can get help !
- basically you have 4 kind of plugins :
A) Wlx lister those plugins are automatically lauched by TC to view files or produce thumbnail.
B) Wcx Packer those are automatically launched by TC to compress/de-compress or view the content of a packed file.
C) Wfx File-System those plugins are accessible when you click on "network neighborhood" you have special functionality like browsing files on your mobile phone, get he list of installed software, Windows registry, ....
D) wdx Content plugins those plugins are loaded for "user column" and/or used to rename files and/or search files or folder... DirSizeCalc in one of those !

I encourage you to read TC help or get Clo tutorial here (Zipped)

DirSizeCalc also includes a description of setting up common use cases. It can be found in the plugin directory or online:
