New SFTP plugin - bugs and problems

This topic is about the problems with this plugin.

SFTP-1 "$ in a filename"
As statet already by others in the topic above, there seams to be a problem with a '$' in a filename.
Some say they send Main$1.class and it becomes Main1.class on the server.
Or on the server there is a Main$1.class and it has the wrong file size.
When I use copy/F5 direkt it works. Maybe I have a problem with the sync-tool, but I can't

SFTP-2 "CPU Usage"
If I download a big file with TC-SFTP my local CPU is used 100% and the speed is around 1MB. If I use WinSCP my local CPU uses around 30% and the speed is around 2MB.
Is this due to the ZLIB compression? I'll check, when I'm able to do so.


Do have others similar problems? Can somebody reproduce this?
Maybe with more detailed information we can help ghishler to find and fix the problem or our misconfiguration ...

My Setup:
Client: WinXP, TC latest.
Server: Suse 10 SLES
Config:
UFT8 - no. (auto setting)
Kompression ZLIB - yes.
Using SCP - yes.
