[Feature Request] Multiple Dir Sort Options

Post by *inspiron »

I have a suggestion for a new feature in a future version of TC:

At the moment, when I sort a directory by extension, the files are sorted by filename within each extension group.

I would like to be able to sort a directory by extension, and have each of the entries then sorted by date.

When I'm using tools like Outlook, I have the ability to sort a list by several columns by clicking a column title, then clicking the second column title with the Shift-key pressed.

It would be great if that could be added to a future version.

Otherwise, keep up the good work! Great tool - happy (and registered) user! :)

It would be a very nice feature, like in Excel... an ability to sort files by [criteria1], then [criteria2], and so on...

Could you please consider this, Christian ? :)

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.
