I run a version of the new Windows 7 and use now the beta 7.50 of TC. With every copy/remove or any directory action I have to confirm its action. This is of course a problem with Windows, but is there a way to go around this? The Alway as Administrator works not overall.
The problem is also known in 7.04 and hoped to be over in 7.50.

Windows 7 works like Vista: There are certain restricted areas like the Windows directory where even admins aren't allowed to write - to access there, a mechanism called "elevation" has to be used. Normally it shouldn't be necessary to work with these locations all the time.
If you have some extensive work to do with them, right click on the Total Commander icon and choose "Run as administrator". This will start TC with full admin rights, so you will not be asked each time to access these folders. However, it's dangerous to work this way because you could damage the system if you do something wrong, so don't do it all the time!

2PeterHh: if you want to, you can enable compatibility-mode for TC.exe. this way it will be executed with administrative level all the time.
to do this, you have to right-click on TC.exe and choose properties. then go to 'Compatibility' tab & check 'Run this program as an administrator' at the bottom. click ok and you're done. from now on, you will be only prompted once, when starting the program.
