I have some sporadic crashes of TC 7.5PB5 on WinXPSP3. This time when switching to an locked tab with allowed directory changes. Maybe it is plugin dependent as I have installed plenty of them.

Thanks for your report. Do you use a custom column view with content plugins in this locked tab?

Not at the time of the tab click.

Unfortunately the stack trace didn't help. The last useful address is in TCustomListBox.WMPaint, where the file listbox is redrawn. I guess that there is a crash either in a Windows shell extension (icon draw handler or so) or content plugin, which corrupts the stack. Can you try to turn off icons via Configuration - Options - Icons? And if it doesn't help, remove all content plugins? Just make a backup of your wincmd.ini so you can restore the plugins easily.

I switched to display only the standard icons. However I guess that is not the cause of the crash as they still occur.

Can you also try to turn off overlay icons if you use them? and if it doesn't help, file hints?
