Shift+Alt+arrows - strange behaviour
I've discovered rather strange TC behaviour and I wonder is it a bug or not. Or maybe it is related to this thread?
Steps to reproduce:
1. hide command line in options;
2. make sure that you have either "Letters with search dialog" or "Disabled" set for QuickSearch;
3. in file panel hit Shift+Alt+ArrowUp or Shift+Alt+ArrowDown;
4. release Alt key.
Either empty QuickSearch dialog will appear or command line with ◘ or ☻ characters.
This is strange because it should not produce any visible signs. Or am I wrong?
Furthermore Shift+Alt+<other arrows> in command line produces ☻♠♦◘.
PB4 produced command line signs were: ˘•¦¦.
7.04a: nothing happened (neither popping out command line nor search box).
P.S. It seems to not matter which Alt key is pressed (left or right).

Kello !
• Confirmed ! Copying then pasting the ☻ character in the Quick Search field opened with Ctrl+S
reveals that it's ASCII #2 (black smiley, ALT+2NUM).
{griping}
- Whether the images could be shown here in the messages, that character could be shown as it is !

I can only confirm that the quick search dialog opens, but nothing is added to it.

In 7.04 the current file is selected.
In PB4, if I set quick search to disabled, the command line is opened with a ? on it, if I set quick search to letters with search dialog the quick search dialog is opened with a ? on it.
Maybe a part of the 3 extended keys (Shift+Alt+Arrow) is not removed from the keyboard buffer in PB4 somehow?
Edit: Just for the record, I am running the betas inside VMware and 7.04 on the actual machine, no idea if that makes a difference.

TC 7.5 b5 confirmed.
If I disable Quicksearch:
I created the signs: ",X▬MM•♦♦♦♦○♥◘☻♠☺☻☻♠◘○B☻◘♠♠◘☻r♠".
(CTRL+ALT+Arrows / Page up+down / Pos1+End)
Pressing keys 2 times before releasing Alt creates other signs.
Its the same ASCII code which I can also use with ALT GR and numpad.
If I enable Quicksearch:
I can use CTRL+ALT+(Arrow up 2 times) to open the quicksearch with an "X" inside.
I can use CTRL+ALT+(Arrow right 2 times) to open the quicksearch with an "B" inside.
Only works if Folder contains anything with "X" or "B". (Or the new option is activated.)

I think this might be important:
WinXP SP3 Pro - Polish version
Language settings:
- Keyboard layouts - Polish (Programmer), Japanese (with IME and Natural Input);
- Language for non-Unicode software - Polish;
- most of codepage conversion tables installed;

I checked it - Windows really sends these keys to TC! I will set the key code to 0 to avoid it.
