Move files form inside a zip file doesn' work

Post by *jpcv »

When I try to drag a file from inside a zip file holding the shift key pressed the icon changes to minus sign but the file is neither moved nor copied.

Regards

PS: I love the TABs

So, this function won't be implemented.
Instead of that could I remove the minus sign when I try to drag a file holding the shift key, when I'm inside a zip file.

:( Too bad. I miss it myself. It would be nice to have it.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Still I can't understand why it should be so difficult/impossible/dangerous to implement F6 out of archives!

Now I can copy(extract them) must reselect the desired files (with NUM-/) and then press delete.

These two steps (1. extracting 2. deleting) can only be carried out, when the packer(-plugin) supports them.
You even now get an error-message when you try to perform not supported features.

So: why not :?:

Greetings
Cheer up, Karl
