Quickfilter view and branch view

When a apply a quick filter on the current view all not matching files are hidden. When I change branch view then the quick filter is gone. I think in this case it should be kept. What do you think?

This is indeed worth discussing. Currently the quick filter is removed every time you make some sort of forced refresh (F2/Ctrl+R, change directory, change tab, branch view), but not when you change view (brief/full, thumbnails etc.) or switch away from TC and back.

Btw, you can restore a previous quick view filter without re-typing it with Ctrl+Shift+S.

For me branch view is more like another view of the current dir than a directory change.
