Seems to me that it depends on the lenght of the file/duration of the transmission, that it shows up.petergus wrote:Yes, I agree! But is there a limit when speed and time is shown?// Peter
Just try to copy a huge file to a network drive - for me it always works fine!
IMHO too: a great feature

Greetings,
Cheer up, Karl
Not very well visible in background copy dialog
And would it be possible to change the way of showing this info in the backgound copy dialog?
If I copy big amount of very small files I cannot see it because it uses the same text label to show filename/speed info.
It should be visible all the time, e.g. in upper right corner.

hmm, I tried copy a 860 MB file to a netfolder with a driveletter and UNC path. No speed and time is shown.CADweazle wrote:Seems to me that it depends on the lenght of the file/duration of the transmission, that it shows up.

What's your operating system?
Did you activate background copy?
B.t.w.: we use WIN2k
Greetings,
And yes I tried background copy and if a do a quick pause and resume,
speed and time is shown in background window.
I even tryed it with 6.01 beta 2.
If I copy the other way, net to local drive. Speed and time is shown.
