Keep selections tagged when exiting "synchronize folder

Post by *psycros »

 (I apologize in advance if this functionality already exists, but I've looked hard and can't find it.) This would be absolutely huge: when you select files on the "synchronize folders" screen, it would be really nice if they would (optionally) STAY selected when you exit back to the main screen. Then you could do any operation TC supports on a nice filtered list of files. Why would anyone want this, some may ask? Imagine if you had three folders that all had a number of files with identical names but of different versions, and you needed to sort them to different folders or perform search-and-replace operations only on particular versions. I've ran into this more times than I can count! PLEASE consider adding this ability, it would be like adding a whole new level of power to TC, probably with minimal coding.

Welcome psycros!

Did you know that the "/" key (on the num block) restores the selection before the last operation?
Who the hell is General Failure, and why is he reading my disk?

Cool. I never noticed that one before.
It even restores them after doing a manual cm_ClearAll

cm_RestoreSelection, 529 - an old command too :P
