LAN problem Error 55

I tried LAN plugin over and over with many settings on my PDA and PC,
but still got "error 55 while connecting" & "error 0 changing to dir" after confirmed the user/password/domain authorization window on my PDA.

I dont have an AP but to use "Computer-to-computer (ad hoc) networks only" to connect my PDA with PC (they can ping to each other very well).

Any clue is greatly appreciated.

problem solved, but actually I don't understand how and why...
belows are what I did, I'm not able to figure out which one is the key process,

- I removed the saved user/pwd by a post

- change reg
HKLM/Comm/SecurityProviders/NTLM/SecurityLevelClient
over and over, and finally it's "3" in my PDA, just like the very begining without any changes...

- built some new users on my PC
