On Windows 7 a window can be docked to the half display width. Wouldn't it be great to handle this event by automatically switching to a more compact (custom column) view?
I know this should be part of a bigger "do MY_COMMAND when XY_EVENT has been fired" feature but I think this could be one of the events.
