Copying: Overwrite all newer

Post by *m^2 »

In case of TC crash or computer crash etc. during copying, there might be partly written files. Fortunately they are easy to find - they are very new.
However, TC lacks the option to overwrite them and I see no reason why is it so.

You want to:
- overwrite the files which are newer than the files you want to copy [OK]
- keep the files which are older than those you want to copy [???]

You may better overwrite files which are not equal !

Just do a "Synchonize Dirs" with "selected only" and hide the equal ones [=].
Next select all (Ctrl-A) and set the copy direction for all accordingly.
