Hi all,
my Options under “Misc.” are getting no confirmation before overwriting/deleting read-only files and no confirmation overwriting/deleting hidden/system files.
The synchronization tool ignores these options and it asks before deleting files. I’m using the tool very often with many files, so that gets on my nerves, because the questions come between the synchronization jobs. That’s very angrily while a the synchronization job over night.
My first idea is that the synchronization tool will use the options under “Misc.”. It will be nice, when the dialog “synchronize” looks like the normal copy/move dialog with the included options to set the confirmation manually for every job.
When this suggestion is out of the question because of security worries here another suggested compromise: Adding two new options to the dialog “synchronize”, like the option “confirm overwrites”:
a) confirm deleting files and folders, yes/no, yes can be initialized
b) confirm deleting read-only/hidden/system files, yes/no, yes can be initialized
