I started using TC extensively in the last months (I use at home for a few years and there is no problem). I used it to copy large amounts of files over the night and I ran into some problems. First, I would like that ESCAPE can be used to unselect any number of file. If I selected a few files (or maybe all files) in a directory, I would like that upon hitting ESCAPE all files are unselected. It is too much of a hassle to use the key that inverts the selection, I would like that all files become unselected quickly, ESCAPE is a very handy and used key. If I am not mistaken, Windows Explorer cancels a cut/copy operation if I press ESCAPE.
My second suggestion is that the multi-rename dialogue remembers the last used rename combination even after closing TC, that it does not remain glued to [N] all the time. Also, I would like that in the filename rename mask I could use the arrow keys to navigate backward and forward.

Assign cm_ClearAll to Esc button using Configuration - Misc dialog. But keep in mind that TC already has shortcut for deselecting files/folders (Ctrl+Num- or Ctrl+Shift+Num- depending on folder selection settings).
You may save favorite multi-rename presets and load them using command MULTIRENAME <your saved preset name>.
What filename rename mask you're talking about? In F5/F6/Shift+F6 dialogs I can use arrow keys to move cursor within editbox.

I didn't know that I could assign that command to ESCAPE. It is a little annoying to do that on all the computers I work with. I also didn't know about the CTRL+Num- too
I am referring to the multi rename dialog that appears using CTRL+M. The idea is that I need to rename certain files with a certain mask every day (the mask is also different each day). It would help if the last used rename combination would be displayed there or I could use Up/Down arrow keys to browse through the masks used to rename. Now that I think of it, a sort of UNDO for the moving/renaming of a file would be great too (as long as I keep my TC open; it has to different than the option available inside the multi rename dialog). Thank you for the quick reply.

I am coming back with a printscreen about the MRT. I want to be able to go to previous used renamed masks using the UP and the DOWN keys, I can only go LEFT and RIGHT. If I want to select a different mask from the list, I have to use the mouse and it is counter-productive

This is a Windows shortcut. I guess it is better than nothing
Thanks. Maybe this will be implemented, just like the shortcut for selecting all the files. At some point the only way was using CTRL and +, now CTRL+A works too. Thanks again!
