Can't rename files in Desktop directory
When I do Commands->Open Desktop Folder, I can't rename any files in the Desktop directory. Is this a bug or a feature?
Re: Can't rename files in Desktop directory
Why not rename them directly on the Desktop? Just select the file and press F2.BIGPILOT wrote:When I do Commands->Open Desktop Folder, I can't rename any files in the Desktop directory. Is this a bug or a feature?
The Desktop is a virtual folder - that is the reason for this behaviour in TC. This topic is covered elsewhere in this forum.

The desktop is a virtual folder, some usual functions don't work for it...
This is defined in the Help, please check its Index at "desktop" or so...
