GIFs in Button Bar?

Post by *Boofo »

Is it possible to use GIFs in the button bar if they are no bigger than 32 in height? I have an animated gif that is 32 (height) by 39 (width) and would like to use it in the button bar. Thanks in advance. ;)

No, sorry - you need to use an icon editor to convert it to an .ico file.

:) Hi Bob!
Like Ch. G. replies, no Gif... Moreover, only square pic-icons are supported {up to 48*48}. The animation isn't supported too; even in Lister, which displays one frame only, using a partner-program.
Normally, Delphi™ allows bitmaps (*.bmp), a friend and I had a problem with this in a program... In TC, I supppose that there is a trick (icons converted or read as BMP in the file <default.br1>?)
I think that animations are complex to implement, and'ld add fat to the EXE!
I'll go in quest of nice icons, or will draw some for you, as a consolation...
Please, just ask for these you need.
8) Friendly,
Claude

That's why we have the Imagine plugin.
