Sir,
All these points are in consideration to new users ---
1) For those who have newly installed TC doesn't know that they have to press right click on a file for a bit more time and
they will be asking questions about this in the forum, therefore
i request u to make defaultly(i.e by installation of TC,without
manually selecting) the selection in the config -> options ->
operation -- as "left mouse button"
2)TC always shows a message about copying - while dragging
and dropping files from left panel to right panel which is annoying
and i request u to defaultly make the selection in the config->
options -> misc -- as unchecked for "Drag and Drop"
3) The quick search feature mostly gives the message -- "file
not found" for most of the --- rar,7zip,jpeg and for some
exe files too and therefore i want u to defaultly set it as
"letters only" in options->quick search
Now what happens is new users considering
the above points as difficult may shift to other competitors and
what about those people who don't know english, german or
french and cant ask a question in the forum.
I beg all of u to comment
Krushna --- hari

Well, it doesn't matter which settings are used as default.
If you leave it as it is, thousands of users will request, that it should the other way.
If you change the default, the thousand of users will request to be as before, because they get used of it since ages.
You see: There is no right way ...

It is EXTREMELY rude to start threads an not follow up on the answers others have spent their valuable time on answering - You will end in MY ignore filter if you don't start replying to answers/replies in topics you have started yourself
The solution to this has bee given in http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=204281#204281TC always shows a message about copying - while dragging
and dropping files
Furthermore - it is far better to get a warning, than to have your files dissapearing if you accidently make a wrong drag@drop. For a new user safety must come before convenience - the experienced used (= the user that has looked through the configuration options, and has bothered to look in the Help) can then change the setting to his liking.
I simply don't understand this statement - As far as I know Quick search does not give any messages - it simply doesn't react if the entered character doesn't match - krushna could you please reply in http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=26699The quick search feature mostly gives the message -- "file not found"
