TC seems to be hung

Hi,

On NT/2000:
If I've a pane showing an UNC (like \\PC01\c$), and PC01 user shutdown it, then my TC hangs. I need to cancel it on Task Administrator.

Hi Jqn,

I encounter this often but after a while the is a time out and tc get back.
I would like that TC detect this broken connection faster.

Unfortunately there is no way to reduce this windows timeout, and no way to interrupt it. I tried to put it in a separate thread, kill the thread, ignore it, etc. but when I then tried to read from ANY drive like c: in the main thread, this function was also hanging until the server timed out. Really an annoying behaviour of the Windows API functions.
