More over TABs

Post by *Jqn »

Hi,

I've several tabs on a pane, some of them locked.
If, by error, I press ".." (dir-up) in a locked tab, TC opens a new tab...
OK. We know already this behavior.

But, then I close the new tab, and TC does not return to the tab where the incorrect pressing was produced, but goes to the last tab in the list.
I need to select again the tab where I was working.
It's an annoying behavior.

:D Hi Joaquin!
I couldn't reproduce this at home... TC returned to the current locked tab.
¤ However, to get more tabs, I asked for load some from a file; they were loaded alright a first time...
 I hid all tabs, then I closed TC ----> I launched TC again ----> I asked for load from a file again, and I got this:

:( It's the second time that loading tabs from a file causes an Access Violation... It's already posted in the French forum, unfortunately, I got none reply from anyone yet... http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=2682
:? Hence, I couldn't continue this test, sorry...
8) Friendly regards,
Claude

Jqn,
Yep, TC changes to the next right tab when the curernt one is closed (or to the last tab if you close the last tab). Some users, including me, would like it to change to the previously active tab when the current one is closed, or, at least, for the time being, to the next left tab.
