TC is stable usually, but it does crash sometime.
and all the tab you been working on lose after you kill the process and restart it.
I suggest TC save the tabs every given time like many browsers... crash, still got the tab you'd been working on back
save tab in interval time

Simplest solution is to send to TC command cm_ConfigSaveSettings by timer (e.g. each 3 minutes) using tools like TCMC.
