Saving directory history

Post by *gromit »

Forgive me if this is a FAQ, but one of the first things that caught my eye in TC 6.0, was the pull-down menus pertaining to directory history. Previously I have used CTRL-D to access history and it is nice to see it at the top of the directory panes.

The other nice touch, is the directory history which shows the last 10 or so directories that you have visited. When you add tabs to this, it makes it very easy to get around your file system :)

My question is, is there a way to save this directory visited history for each tab, so it is there when TC is next started. I notice the tabs are saved, but not where they've been.

As you can gather, I make good use of directory navigating aids in TC, and something like this would be a nice touch.

Yes, that will be a very good feature. I use Ctrl+Down very often and after restarting TC I have to go to last used folders by hand.

The directory hotlist is one of the most used features I use in TC. Having the ability to save where I've been in each tab would be very handy.

I wonder, is there a place I can make feature suggestions other then emailing support?
