Hi All,
I'm having an issue with the webdav plugin accessing a regular webdav server (Apache-based, I believe).
Here's steps to reproduce the problem:
1. connect to a server, copy a file (eg. text file) to a local folder,
2. change the file on a server (eg. add a line to the text file),
3. refresh the webdav folder (you'll see that the file size has changed),
4. copy the file again to a local destination - an OLD version of the file has been downloaded, (old contents, old file size), just like it was cached somewhere inside the plugin.
5. in Totalcmd, disconnect from the webdav dir and connect again - you'll still be able to download the OLD version, not the new one,
6. shut down Totalcmd, start it again - you'll be able to download the new version of the file, but once you've downloaded it, you won't be able to download a newer version.
Can this be an issue with the environment, or with the plugin?
Here's some details:
- Total Commander 7.56a,
- Webdav plugin 2.1
- Windows 7 32bit,
- the server - I believe an Apache,
- the file - anything, a simple file with a few lines of text inside will do.
Thanks,
JK

My WebDAV plugin is using the Internet Explorer functions to access Web servers. You need to change the IE cache settings (even if you use a different browser!) to avoid this problem. It's something like Settings - General - Browser History - Settings - For each access of the site. Sorry, I write this from a German Windows 7, so I don't know the exact words.
