Multi-rename tool bug?(32)

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Multi-rename tool: When adding fields using the buttons like [N] or [C], the fields were always added at the end of the line, not the cursor position (32)

my os is 32bit winxp with sp3,
the bug not only occur in tc8.0, old version 7.x can also occured

XP x64, TC 7.56a, 8.0β3 x32, 8.0β3 x64 — cannot confirm either.

TC does this with some Asian locales which return invalid position values for a selection.
