[8.0ß4-x64] Separate SyncDirs does not react to Close button

Post by *Flint »

1. Start TC in separate SyncDirs mode.
2. Right click in the empty area (where list of files would be shown after comparison), context menu appears.
3. Close the context menu by left clicking in the empty area or by pressing Esc.
4. Try to close the window by pressing the Close button -> window is not closed.

Pressing Esc, Alt+F4, or clicking the [X] button in the title bar work correctly.

I think that this was done to avoid that you accidentally close the window after changing some options. Does it really close on the first press of ESC?

Yes, it does.
Besides, the reported issue is not present in the built-in SyncDirs, only in external one.

I can confirm Flint's observation. Actually I don't even have to perform the rightclick in the empty area. The close button NEVER works in standalone sync (TOTALCMD.EXE /S=S) here.

Furthermore in the 32bit version the Close button works for standalone sync.

Strange. At my work computer I tested this case specifically, and without right-click the Close button worked correctly. But at my home computer in a virtual machine the Close button does not work at all…
Both systems are XP x64.
