[8.0b3 x64] Directory History saving works wrong

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[8.0b3 x64] Directory History saving works wrong

Post by *Nickless »

Hi, All,

When the option "Save on exit directory history" (Configuration->Options->Operation->Save on exit directory history) is unchecked,
the Total Commander still saves the old folder history, and this folder history isn't cleaned.
Everytime I start the T.C., I see the old folder history, and I cannot reset it (until I edit the INI-file manually).

And this is not a Bug - the option is only to not save any MORE history NOT to clean it!

Agree.
The purpose is to preserve an initial set of folders and finally stop the further update.

To handle those entries very comfortable, you may use History Editor of the overall useful Ultra TC Editors.
