Here are my screenshots: https://my.syncplicity.com/share/r1dhlowgoq/TC_Position_Bugs.zip
I created 50 empty folders. I enter folder named "22" and exit it. The position of folders is changed before entering and after exiting folder "22".
Position bug 1 (files TC_Position_Bug_1_1 and TC_Position_Bug_1_2).
As we see here, after exiting folder "22", the list with folders moved down to three rows ("...", "1" and "2" are gone).
Position bug 2 (files TC_Position_Bug_2_1 and TC_Position_Bug_2_2).
In this case I entered directory "22" when top folder was "19". After exiting, the top folder became "3".
I tried to reproduce the same in Windows Explorer.
Bug 1 doesn't appear in Windows Explorer, it correctly returned me to the same position.
Bug 2 appears in Windows Explorer too.

Total Commander does not remember the positions where you were in other directories, sorry. It's not so simple because there are many ways how to enter a directory.
