I want to associate “flv” files with a flash-player.
The "Files/Associate with" in the Total Commander dialog box accepts the new entry. Windows Explorer also accepts it. When clicking on the flv-file in Explorer, the defined player starts as expected.
However, Total Commander continues to show the Windows Media Player icon, which was previously associated with the flv-file.
Clicking on the flv-file under Total Commander, my old Windows MP pops up and tries to open the file (most of the time without success).
What can I / You do to eliminate this bug?

It is more complicated. TC shows the correct thumbnail icon for my FLV-player when I am logged in as Administrator.
Logged in as user, however opening TC with Administrator rights, the thumbnail icon is from the Windows Media Player. Clicking upon it runs WMP, not the desired FLV-Player.
Where does TC store file associations?
Is it possible to correct the bug manually?
