I can FTP using FtpVoyager but not Total Commander

Post by *marv »

I have a site I can access from within my company using Total Commander :D . However, when I am at home I cannot access it with Total Commander :( but I can access it via FtpVoyager or other ftp utilities 8) .

Using Total Commander, I notice a QUIT command in the ftp listing and then the connection quits.

What is the problem with TC if other ftp managers have no problem with it.

:)  Hello !

• The QUIT command is sent normally when the transfert is ended...
¤ Whether you wait for a too long time, maybe the connection is timed out ?

In the connection Configuration, tick the box :
"Send a command to keep the connection alive ... " 90 seconds is the value by default. Try to decrease this value.
• The default command is NOOP It works fine generally with many servers.
• If it's not accepted, try another...

• The normal order of commands is:
USER >> PASS >> FEAT >> ..... QUIT
 Kind regards,
Claude

Thanks for the idea. I will try it as soon as I get my next chance at home. I will let you know what happens.
