[8.0b10] Change single button dialog and "Ctrl-A"

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[8.0b10] Change single button dialog and "Ctrl-A"

Post by *GL1zdA »

I often copy paths between the text fields in the "Change single button" dialog. In some text fields Ctrl+A works for selecting the whole path, but in "Command" and "Icon file" it first places the cursor at the end of the text and if pressed for the second time it deletes it (it does so even if I press Ctrl+A, the edit something else, return to the text field where I pressed Ctrl+A and press it again - the text is deleted). If I change anything (add or delete a letter) it will work OK - Ctrl+A selects the whole content. It also happened once in the "Start path" field, but I couldn't reproduce it.

What I expect is behaviour consistent with what Ctrl+A does in the other three text fields in this dialog. TC behaves in the same way in 7.56a.

If it helps I'm attaching my OS details: I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with the Classic theme.
