How can I prevent the archive attribute from being set on copying files?
Not possible---

Hello!
• Unfortunately, I found nothing to prevent this.
• I tested : even a file having none attribute gets one when copied.
It seems a small bug or rather a lacuna
• Such a command exists for Rename (to add in <wincmd.ini> : SetArchiveBitOnRename=1/0 ) but not for copying files yet (might set none attribute whether none exists).
• It's nowhere to be found in all Help folders (all languages).
• You can try to supress the "a" attribute for all copied files as one time. Select all copied files having the undesirable attribute, then set none attribute using the command of the "Files" menu…
Kind regards,
Claude
