Slow network access

I am experiencing a very slow network access over the last versions. I have a QNAP NAS system connected to my server (windows SBS 2008). I always see the NAS when first access once and I cannot open it. When I open another share in the list and go back the NAS is listed twice and one of them is not accessible. I cannot determine why.
The main problem is the very slow showing (sometimes freezing) the network drives.

Please try the following experimental new option:

wincmd.ini
[Configuration]
NetHoodReadInfo=8

This may or may not help, I cannot test it myself because my own network is very fast.
