1)Is it possible to vie thumbnails? 2)Why wrong zip/rar icon

Post by *Fotis_Greece »

Seeing the quick reply from my another question I feel I can get some answers to two questions

1) I have manu-many pictures in my PC and I was wondering whether there could be some option to view them in thumbnails, either in the same panel or in the other one just like when selecting Quick View. That would be really helpful
By the way, doeesn't TC support viewer for jpg or gif files? When pressing quick view in these picture files you don't see the picture but that hex code
2) Could somebody tell me why the zip or rar files show with the silly icon that TC provides and not with the real one as in Windows Explorer? All the other icon for the various file types show correctly.

Try to use one of the plugins for viewing different types of images.
Look here for my comparison.
Also try to use Quick View on the folder with pictures.

ad 2) I think it's to indicate that a file system plugin is available that handles this file type.

:)   Hi !
• Explorer does not manage the packers ! TC handles partners packer-programs you set in the Configuration >> Options, also packers-DLLs *.wcx
• Hence, TC uses its own icons, currently the same for all packers.
• This issue has been discussed already here, we wait for an improvement...
• You could get a better look for the TC internal icons, using the Wcicolib.icl library, available from the TC site:
https://plugins.ghisler.com/addons/wcicolib.zip
Add in <wincmd.ini> under:

Code: Select all

[Configuration]
IconLib=%COMMANDER_PATH%\wcicolib.icl
  Kind regards,
Claude
